Tomorrow is Already Here

Over the last few years the technology industry, business and the media have talked about digital transformation as an ‘event’ in the future. But technology has been moving at such a rate that it’s reasonable to say the future has already begun. The true innovators, the rising stars and giants of industry who are always ahead of the curve, aren’t waiting around for the future to happen to them, they’ve met it head on. And not just in the tech industry.

Businesses can choose to stay as they are, believing that what has made them successful in the past will continue to make them successful for the future, convinced that when the time comes they’ll make the necessary adaptions, or they can choose to accept that Tomorrow is Already Here.

The SAP Innovation Forum is a key event in the UKI calendar for SAP customers, partners and prospects and the 2017 event promises to be a completely revamped and original experience. Click below to register today.

Bruce Dickinson
Closing presentation

Bruce Dickinson is one of rock music's renaissance men - best known as the lead singer of Iron Maiden, one of the world's biggest rock bands and having sold over 85 million albums and regularly headlining to 100,000 people, Bruce is also a business angel, innovator and entrepreneur, commercial pilot, international fencer, actor and author. He has established a company, Cardiff Aviation Ltd, that will repair and overhaul aircraft the size of a Boeing 767. The business is based in a UK enterprise zone in the Vale of Glamorgan  and has created jobs and growth in the area. He is also involved in an airship venture to manufacture what equates to roll on, roll off ferries which have both a military and a commercial application, which is a real game changer having received $500 million funding from the US Govt. Best described as a Polymath, he is highly energetic, curious and always ready to re-invent himself. One of Bruce’s ventures was the introduction and launch of the new Iron Maiden beer, TROOPER, which has become the brewery's quickest ever selling beer. Always the innovator, Bruce’s latest project is creating edible drones for famine relief.

‘’I enjoy the challenge of Innovation and creativity, and I enjoy working with talented individuals and building a team. In many ways the world of rock and roll is not so very different from business.’’
