Shipping the Future
15:00 - 15:45

Shipping is our country’s most important industry. Greece is a maritime nation, and Greek shipping companies like yours have been a lead contributor of economic development for many years.

We at SAP understand that shipping has been increasingly operating in a challenging economic environment, dominated by demand and supply imbalances, volatile freight rates and vessel values, increasing regulation, and environmental concerns among others. In this challenging business environment for ship owners, we believe that a connectedpredictive and networked shipping can help shipping companies not only optimize operations in the present, but most importantly build the foundations for the digital future of this industry. Information that can be used for real-time monitoring, analytics, energy efficiency, safety improvements and maintenance facilitation, is increasing the useful life of your ships. By leveraging this information, shipping can gain predictive insights on maintenance, customer service, weather phenomena, and insurance, thus reduce costs.

Gain insights about the latest trends in the Transportation Industry, as well as to discuss how your shipping organization can adapt towards a new digital reality.
