About the Event

The SAP Academic Conference Americas is the annual conference for faculty in the SAP University Alliances network all over the Americas region. Faculty at SAP University Alliances member schools from other global regions are also invited to attend.

The theme of the 19th SAP Academic Conference Americas is “Building the Talent of the Future for the Digital Enterprise.” Collaborate with us to inspire and prepare students as future designers, developers, data scientists, entrepreneurs and business leaders for the digital enterprise.

The event shares SAP’s strategic direction and showcases opportunities to leverage SAP solutions and SAP University Alliances offerings to enhance students’ academic and career outcomes.  Educators, researchers, and industry experts come together to discuss new topics in teaching and research with SAP. Understand why students who know how to design for people will be our future innovators.  Discover the latest opportunities - new SAP software such as SAP Cloud for Analytics and curriculum for classroom teaching; SAP Next-Gen Consulting, a new strategic youth innovation service for the SAP ecosystem; SUGAR, a global innovation network of academic institutions collaborating with companies to solve challenging, real-world problems; Project Propel Empowered by SAP, enabling historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) to empower their students with knowledge of the latest SAP technologies; SAP Learning Hub, academic edition; and much more.

The conference also provides a tremendous opportunity to exchange ideas and share experiences with colleagues and partners and to expand networks and contacts for future curricula and research development. This year’s conference features peer-reviewed presentations by faculty on innovations in teaching and research with SAP, as well as best practices in mentoring for SAP University Alliances members and prospective members.

The conference takes place February 16-18, 2016 in San Diego, California, USA. Faculty are invited to kick off the conference at the evening welcome and networking reception on Tuesday, February 16.  Conference presentations and sessions are February 17 and 18.
