In the very recent past, technological innovation could buy an organization decades of survival and solid market leadership. But in the present, even though innovation is still crucial, most innovations don’t last more than couple of year before hundreds of competitors begin offering the same goods or services for a better price. The intense competition in the experience economy ensures quick fall of company who are fail to remain relevant.

If we look at data : Only 53 US companies have been on the Fortune 500 since 1955, thanks to the creative destruction that fuels economic prosperity. It’s reasonable to assume that when the Fortune 500 list is released 50 years from now, almost all of today’s Fortune 500 companies will no longer exist as they do now. Unbelievable as they sound but Facebook and google of the world will not longer be the way they are now.

The constant turnover is a positive sign of the dynamism and innovation that characterizes our vibrant consumer-oriented market economy. In this panel discussion today we will have a candid chat with three senior executives to understand their thoughts on the topic of remaining relevant to the customers and their approach to the never ending journey of innovation that sustains their relevancy in the experience economy.
