Description

This workshop aims to provide participants with an overview of the SAP SuccessFactors curriculum design including activities that students would undertake to relate current world events to the use of a HRIS such as SAP SuccessFactors. It will include an introduction to SAP SuccessFactors and train-the-trainer sessions covering navigation, organizational charts, actions within the employee lifecycle and an introduction to Performance Management.

Description

This session will provide educators with a hands-on introduction to Business Builders and equip them with the necessary skills to integrate it into their curriculum.

Participants will:

  • Experience Business Builders firsthand: Engage in a live gameplay session to fully understand the student experience.
  • Learn Instructor Administration: Discover how to create student groups, manage accounts, and set up games or events within the Business Builders platform.
  • Explore SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Integration: Gain insights into how students utilize SAC for visual analysis within the game and access supplementary SAC training materials.
  • Understand Available Scenarios: Receive a detailed overview of the different business scenarios available in Business Builders, enabling you to select the most suitable options for your students' learning objectives and skill levels.
  • Discover Assessment: Learn about the automated scoring features, options for evaluating student-created SAC storyboards and reports.
  • Business Builders Accreditation: Process for educators to obtain their digital badge and certificate.

Description

SAP Signavio is a cloud-based business process management (BPM) platform that gives users the ability to understand, improve and transform all of their business processes – fast and at scale. The session is based on SAP Signavio Business Process Transformation Suite and academic edition. The SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite helps businesses to understand, improve, and transform their processes. In this workshop, participants will get an overview of the suite and its modules, followed by an in-depth introduction to process modeling with the SAP Signavio Process Manager. In a hands-on practice session, participants will use Signavio’s free Academic offering to understand folder structure and user management, and apply BPMN 2.0 process modeling techniques. The session concludes with a demo of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence and an outlook for future Academic application.  ​

This interactive mini-workshop explores how educators and students can leverage free offerings from SAP Learning to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

We will introduce Student Zone on the SAP Learning Site and the new SAP Learning Hub, Student Edition, highlighting how these resources provide access to high-quality learning content, hands-on practice, and certification opportunities. Participants will discover strategies and best practices to incorporate these resources into coursework, empowering students with in-demand SAP skills that align with industry needs.

Train-The-Trainer Workshops

Description

The workshop will introduce the participants to the SAP S/4HANA 2020 enterprise system and explore best practices for teaching with the University Alliance Curriculum. S/4HANA 2020 enterprise system offers participants a glimpse into the state-of-the-art user experience with SAP Fiori. The primary motive is to enable an experiential learning opportunity for participants about how end-to-end business processes happen in S/4HANA. The case set will be the Global Bike 4.2 business case study, an application-independent teaching and learning platform. Participants also learn how to access and integrate the SAP HANA curriculum into the courses/programs offered.

Description

The ERPsim workshop offers faculty members a comprehensive introduction to ERPsim, the gamified tool that allows students to learn integrated business processes in a hands-on, risk-free environment.

Through business simulation games, students gain practical experience in managing a virtual company, making strategic decisions across various functional areas like procurement, production, sales, and finance, all within a realistic SAP S/4HANA environment.

This intensive workshop will equip faculty members with the knowledge and skills necessary to use ERPsim in their classrooms and guide their students through the learning experience. The workshop will cover:

  • Introduction to ERPsim: Understand the pedagogical value and learning objectives of using ERPsim in class.
  • The ERPsim Games: Explore the different simulations and their application in various disciplines.
  • Class Management: Learn how to set up the ERPsim environment, manage student access, and organize classes within the platform.
  • Play and Manage Games: Gain practical experience in running and overseeing ERPsim game sessions, including monitoring student progress and intervening when necessary.
  • Analytics: Discover how to leverage the built-in analytics and reporting features within ERPsim to assess student performance and gain insights into their decision-making.
  • Pedagogy: Discuss effective teaching strategies and best practices for integrating ERPsim into different course formats and learning objectives.
  • Live Gameplay: Participate in a live ERPsim game to experience the simulation from a student's perspective and solidify the understanding of the gameplay dynamics.

To achieve ERPsim Certification, the participants are required to enroll in the associated online self-paced course following the in-person workshop and successfully complete the quizzes within the online platform.  Upon successful completion, faculty members will be eligible to receive their digital badge and certificate, formally recognizing their proficiency in utilizing ERPsim for educational purposes.

SAP Ariba is a leading cloud-based procurement and supply chain management solution. The session will cover best practices for delivering engaging teaching troubleshooting common challenges, and guiding learners through real-world procurement scenarios. Participants will gain hands-on experience with Ariba’s core functionalities. By the end of the workshop, participants will be well-prepared to teach SAP Ariba in the classroom.

Participants will learn how to Connect, transform and visualize real-time data to drive intelligent business decisions. SAC will help deliver value across your business with superior, data-driven decision making. The SAC combines BI, augmented and predictive analytics, and planning capabilities into one cloud environment that helps to uncover actionable insights to deliver value across the business with simplified access to analytics. The focus lies on the analysis of complex data sets as well as the finding of trends and patterns that are hidden at the back of the data. ​

Description

This workshop presents the new sustainability curricula in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud. Where the Environment Management module in the ERP system uses Global Bike energy consumption for operational sustainability calculations, SAC Modeler and SAC Story Builder use a Global Bike travel dataset to calculate, analyze and visualized an event carbon footprint. A sneak preview into SAP Sustainability Footprint Management (SFM) is given at the end.

  • SAP Build Apps – How end users can quickly build an app to help data analytics, create reports, and much more.
  • SAP Build Code Process Automation – Learn how to model and automate business processes in scenarios such as Global Bike Inc and/or ERP Simulation Game.
  • SAP Build Code with Joule - Gain experience with SAP Build Code to build full-stack enterprise applications. Explore how SAP Joule, SAP's AI-based copilot, can be used to for code development to build powerful enterprise applications.

This workshop will be the APAC premier of SAP Joule!
