Formerly the chief evangelist at Apple, Guy is now the chief evangelist at Canva, a brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz and a trustee of the Wikimedia Foundation. He’s also an executive fellow of the Haas School of Business (UC Berkeley) and an adjunct professor at the University of New South Wales.

With a BA from Stanford University, an MBA from UCLA, and an honorary doctorate from Babson College, Guy is the author of Wise Guy, The Art of the Start 2.0, The Art of Social Media, Enchantment and eleven other books. He's also the creator of the Remarkable People podcast and has more than 7M combined followers across social media.

Michele Pelino

Principal Analyst, Forrester Research

 

Michele is a member of Forrester's Infrastructure & Operations research team, delivering strategic guidance to Forrester’s enterprise and vendor clients. Her expertise focuses on Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, technologies, applications and vendors, as well as enterprise mobility, mobile device application adoption and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) initiatives. 

 

Her research spans:  

  • IoT software platforms and technologies
  • Machine-to-machine (M2M) devices
  • IoT applications in retail, healthcare, manufacturing and transportation
  • IoT impacts on customer experience, IT and operations 
  • Enterprise mobility (BYOD strategy, location-based services, mobile devices and applications, 5G technologies, workforce segmentation and mobile device life-cycle solutions)
Gerrit Kazmaier

President of the SAP HANA and Analytics Unit

 

Gerrit Kazmaier is president of the SAP HANA and Analytics unit with global responsibility for the development, product management, and solution management of this portfolio of solutions.

 

Gerrit is passionate about data and cloud technology and how continuous innovation can create lasting business value for SAP customers. With the vision to develop a unified approach for a business intelligence, planning, and predictive analytics solution, Gerrit built the foundation for SAP Analytics Cloud and the SAP Digital Boardroom. In 2018, Gerrit expanded his role to additionally cover SAP’s Database and Data Management organization, where he first began his career at SAP in 2009. 

 

As head of development, product management, and solution management for these two areas, he is responsible for building, innovating, and driving the market strategy for SAP’s flagship in-memory business database SAP HANA as well as SAP’s analytics solutions. 

 

During his tenure at SAP, Gerrit has filed over 30 patents on technologies for analytical and spatial data processing. Together with his team, he also won the prestigious SAP Hasso Plattner Founders’ Award for their work on creating a high-performance spatial engine inside SAP HANA.

     

Jen Barney

Award-Winning Chef

 

Jen Barney’s reputation for creating desserts that look as exquisite as they taste is now known nationwide. The Wisconsin-based pastry chef and owner of Meringue Bakery catapulted to fame and proved her fierce culinary skills by winning two Food Network Baking Championship Titles. Her creations showcased skill, passion, and talent that have people calling her the Doyenne of Desserts.

 

A classically trained baker and pastry chef and graduate of the acclaimed Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Jen began her career 10 years ago as a wedding cake decorator. Her career has taken her from the Twin Cities area to New Mexico and back home to Wisconsin. Along the way, she has prepared desserts and pastries for large banquets and restaurants, designed specialty dessert lines, and created decadent confections and cakes for a variety of occasions.

 

Today, Jen is best known for her elegant wedding cakes and unique, custom flavors—from classical and subtle to novel and bold. Each wedding cake she creates is one of a kind and made especially for the one-of-a-kind couple and, when possible, made with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Specialties include edible flowers and hand-painted and sculpted cakes. Jen and her talented staff also offer seasonal items and party favors along with pastries and personalized desserts for corporate events.
