SAP S/4HANA is the next-generation business suite designed to meet the challenges and opportunities resulting from the digital transformation of business.

The focus of the first day is to introduce the main concepts of SAP S/4HANA, the resulting architectural changes, and the new user interface SAP Fiori. The introduction of these concepts will be accompanied by first practical exercises. Moreover, the integrated model company Global Bike will be introduced on the first day, as well as lecturer notes and system/user administration.

On the second and third day, an introduction to business processes with SAP S/4HANA is given. The focus is on exercises and case studies highlighting the integration of central business areas. For example, Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Financial Accounting (FI), and Controlling (CO) will be presented and practiced in the system.

Additionally, on the third day, the curriculum “The Digital Transformation of Global Bike” will be introduced. First, an overview of all modules will be given, with a focus on the modules available for SAP S/4HANA. Finally, selected topics of the curriculum will be presented and practiced in the system. This includes case studies on Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) in the context of the digital transformation.

SAP offers the opportunities for companies to discover and share insights as well as make better decisions by applying the SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) platform and its various analytic tools.

At the beginning of the course, participants are introduced to available SAP Analytics curricula such as SAP BW on  HANA, SAP Business Objects, SAP Lumira and SAP HANA. First, we start with an introduction to SAP BW on HANA and how data is stored in the Business Warehouse system. In addition, the basics of multidimensional analysis and OLAP will be taught using the example of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) powered by SAP HANA (SAP BW on HANA). Also the essentials of querying and reporting concepts will be explained. This will be done with practical exercises directly on the SAP BW on HANA system.

In the second part, the first half of the new curriculum “SAP Lumira 2.1” will be introduced: Explorative analysis with SAP Lumira Discovery. Afterwards, adhoc-reporting and standard reporting will be shown using SAP BO Web Intelligence and SAP Crystal Reports. All those topics are conducted with aid of slides and case studies.

In the third part, participants learn how to use the Microsoft Office add-in from SAP to create reports with Microsoft Excel. Finally, the second half of the new curriculum “SAP Lumira 2.1” will be introduced: building powerful dashboards using SAP Lumira Designer. Both topics are hands-on sessions with slides and case studies.

Objective of this course is to gain comprehensive knowledge about the ERP Simulation Game (ERPsim), an innovative concept of interactive learning and the acquisition of ERP knowledge using SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA and SAP Lumira.

The ERPsim simulation game is automating several business processes:

(1) The sales process, so that every firm receives a large number of orders in each period of the simulation.

(2) Part of the production process, in order to account for production capacity.

(3) Part of the procurement process to account for delay in delivery and payment.

Using SAP S/4HANA, the team members have to produce goods on stock and interact with customers and vendors as they have to create purchase orders, pay delivered raw material, receive and deliver customer orders, and receive payment from their customers. Each group is competing against each other with the main objective to maximize profit. ERPsim provides lectures as well as team members’ extensive information about the financial status of their companies. By this way, the link between entrepreneurial decisions and the result in terms of profitability gets transparent for the participants.

Completion of this course grants the participant the ERPsim Level 1 certification, which allows the use of ERPsim in class and provides access to all the material.

Blockchain is an innovative new way of recording transactions in a distributed public (or private) ledger. Bitcoin! The cryptocurrency that has been applauded, ridiculed, hacked (well, not directly), and dismissed. Yet it is trading at a high exchange rate against the USD. Whatever the fate of bitcoin, the technological breakthrough is worth studying. Blockchain is the distributed and decentralized database technology behind this cryptocurrency. This workshop explores the fundamentals of the public, transparent, secure, immutable and distributed database called blockchain. Blockchains can be used to record and transfer any digital asset not just currency. Its potential impact on financial services, government, banking, contracting and identity management will be discussed. This workshop will explore both enterprise blockchains (SAP Leonardo) as well as public blockchain (bitcoin).

Machine Learning will introduce participants to the SAP Predictive Analytics software. The SAP Predictive Analytics software consists of two modes, namely Automated Analytics and Expert Analytics. In the automated analytics mode, the participants will test a set of automated machine learning algorithms, and on the expert Analytics mode, the participants will get introduced to specific user controlled machine learning models. The hands-on machine learning case studies are made available from the SAP University Alliances analytics and data science curriculum. The primary aim of the Training is to familiarize the feature-richness of SAP Predictive Analytics Software and explore newer avenues of curriculum development.

This course offers insights into the In-Memory Database SAP HANA and a broad overview of SAP HANA as a platform. Participants will learn the differences between relational and in-memory databases as well as their advantages and disadvantages. In hands-on sessions, skills in using and working with SAP HANA will be imparted.

On the first day of this introduction course the basic concepts will be introduced and new possibilities with SAP HANA discussed. Course participants will learn and implement different Extract-Transform-Load processes und use SAP HANA Smart Data Integration for loading data into the database. This data is then further used in different logical views, which also will be created by the participants as part of the data modelling part of this day. Finally, the data is visualized using SAP Predictive Analytics.

The following days focus on data mining, text analytics and predictive analytics with SAP HANA. Participants will have to analyze sample data with the tool SAP Predictive Analytics, create forecasts of future revenue of a sample company and find out which products are sold the most based on historical data. Learning how to do a Sentiment Analysis using real Twitter data with SAP HANA and applying it step by step will also be included.

• You learn the basic principles of the Internet-of-Things by hands-on exercises. Using your smartphones and SAP HANA Streaming Analytics you transfer acceleration data into the SAP HANA database and visualize the live data. You will also learn how to use a real-time data stream to implement a predictive maintenance scenario.

2. Industrie 4.0 

• The fourth generation of industrialization heralds the evolution toward smart factories that leverage the latest technological concepts and innovations. The number of intelligent devices in factories and the amount of information provided by these devices is increasing significantly.

• Participants will be trained on the available Industrie 4.0 curriculum and you will get information how you can incorporate Industrie 4.0 into their teaching.

The programming language ABAP is still one of the most important programming languages in the SAP world as it transfers the business logic to the programming level. Knowing ABAP means to understand business logic in SAP and qualifies students in the field of computer science or information systems to understand the behavior of SAP systems. Besides, students can use this knowledge to extend SAP programs on their own to fulfil new business needs instantly. With the latest available web technologies SAP offers in addition the possibility to present business processes on modern user interfaces.

This course is a good starting point for lecturers who want to increase their knowledge about SAP systems, the programming language ABAP and the variety of web technologies in order to leverage the application of mobile devices. In particular, it introduces the latest SAP web technology “SAPUI5”. The aim of the course is to deliver basic concepts of ABAP. Moreover, it presents a variety of web technologies and facilitates to gain first programming experience. Lecturers attending this workshop are trained to create new SAP programs, user dialogs and database accesses using the development environment Eclipse.

The training session is a beginner’s course for which no ABAP knowledge is needed. However, attendees should be experienced in one or more programming languages, preferably an object-oriented one, and be familiar with navigation in SAP systems.

The main objective of the Global Bike configuration case is for lecturer (and later students) to understand the concept of SAP S/4HANA integration. The overall scenario and the following phases will allow students to understand importance and advantages of implementing enterprise structures as well as business processes in an SAP S/4HANA system.

The course showcases practical points of an ERP integration with S/4HANA 1709. While all course material provided is tailored to S/4HANA everything beside FIORI integration is also applicable to SAP ERP.

Integrated Business Processes in SAP S/4 HANA (TS410). A two and a half day TS410 working session, followed by an optional TS410 onsite certification exam (standard exam fee applies). Session is facilitated by instructor, but each participant is expected to review the new course materials in advance and actively contribute. This is not a typical workshop where faculty are presented to. Day one and two is delta course exploration and day three will include the certification.

Must be currently TERP10 certified. Additionally, we recommend it only for those who teach TERP10 at least annually.
