The platform leverages globally 3,700+ educational institutions in 117 countries as well as startups, accelerators, tech community partners, purpose driven partners, venture firms, futurists, and 110+ SAP Next-Gen labs/hubs at universities and at partner and SAP locations, and 107+ SAP Next-Gen Chapters. The platform also leverages SAP’s 100+ innovation and development centers, and SAP’s network of 17,000+ partner companies.

Our philosophy

The SAP Young Thinkers program has the mission to “Enable You!th to Shape a Purposeful World.” By opening the world of SAP to younger students in schools, the program inspires the next generation to pursue education and careers in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) fields. Providing a foundation for digital literacy, students and IT beginners actively experience how innovation methodologies and technology can help shape a purpose focused world.

The SAP Young Thinkers community is a global network with motivated partners, offering learning opportunities on topics of digitization, design and innovation, and the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The challenges of today’s world require new ways of learning to achieve digital skills and foster holistic thinking. The SAP Young Thinkers community offers interdisciplinary and mixed-age workshops for a variety of educational formats for schools around the world that are pursuing digital education while also bringing a strong focus to how digital technologies can accelerate solutions to the SDGs.
