Participation Rules
ERPsim Game EMEA South 2021

 

General Rules

 

- There is no prior knowledge needed of SAP / ERP to participate on this competition

- The competition is open to selected Universities located in EMEA South (SAP Southern Europe, Middle East & Africa) 

- Due to capacity limitations, priority to participate have those students from Universities member of SAP University Alliances & SAP Next-Gen

- Only one team of 4 undergraduate* students per university is allowed to participate. The students must be currently attending the University. There is no restriction regarding their majoring *Feel free to register a plus one student for backup reasons*

- One professor per University will be responsible for registering the team and our overall main point of contact per team

- The official language of the event will be English

- In order to foster a regional event, there is a limited number of Universities per country

- The game altogether lasts maximum 4,5 hours

- There will be an Intro Session of about 45 minutes one week before the Game, October 12, 2021

- No cheating is allowed! All teams must behave ethically at all times. The organizers reserve the rights to disqualify teams who are not playing ethically and fairly

 

- Registration closes on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. At the latest, we will be confirming the participation of the student teams on Friday, October 1st, 2021

About the Game

- In groups of 4 participants, each team operates a Müsli Cereal company.

- Using standard reports, participants have to make business decisions to
ensure the profitability of their operation

 

Virtual Set Up

- The event will be held via Zoom for a plenary session and later on in breakout rooms

- Students will be working in virtual teams, using a real SAP S/4HANA system

- Each participant will need a computer with internet connection

- ERPsim Lab has donated the students licenses for thia game and also supported hosting the game

 

All Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation
