Valentin Savu is Back Office Platforms Manager at PPC Romania, where he is responsible for the governance and evolution of the company’s SAP landscape and core business platforms that support critical operational processes.

With more than a decade of experience in the Romanian utilities sector, Valentin began his career as an electrical engineer before moving into business systems and digital transformation. This unique journey has given him a deep understanding of both energy infrastructure and the role of ERP systems in enabling efficient business operations and delivering value to customers.

Throughout his career, he has contributed to a wide range of initiatives, from smart metering support to large-scale ERP transformation projects. He is passionate about data-driven decision-making, process excellence, and building high-performing teams that successfully drive business transformation.

Andrei Pupaza is the CEO of Sync and phaze01, an international IT consulting group focused primarily on SAP services, alongside infrastructure and cloud solutions. A law school graduate and Executive MBA holder from WU Executive Academy, he combines business, legal, and technology perspectives in leading transformation and growth initiatives, including M&A processes on both the buy-side and sell-side.

The SAP Partner group employs more than 70 consultants, operates internationally with offices in Romania and a team in Mexico, delivering approximately 100,000 consulting hours annually across multiple industries.

Dr. Igor Belousov is Vice President at SAP University Alliances, country manager for Italy, Spain, Turkey, ECA cluster at CEE. He supports key directions of SAP innovation agenda in such areas as quantum computing, AI/ML, mobile business apps, AR/VR/MR. Igor collaborates with SAP colleagues from research and innovation units, other SAP divisions, with partners such as IBM and IBM Quantum, customers to prepare educational materials for faculties and students including SAP University Alliances Quick Start Guides.

Andrei Mihnea Iliescu is an experienced SAP and people management leader with over 20 years of expertise in project delivery, organizational leadership, and team development within international IT environments. Throughout his career at IBM FutureNow Center Romania, he has successfully led large multicultural teams, managed complex SAP delivery programs, and driven operational excellence across multiple business areas. Currently serving as SAP Practice Area Leader, Andrei oversees strategic SAP initiatives, resource management, talent development, and client engagement for teams of more than 200 consultants and project managers. Known for his strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, he combines deep project management expertise with a people-focused approach to building high-performing teams and delivering business value.

Bogdan Cioc is the Lead of SAP Labs SEE Romania, a fast-growing research and development center that plays an important role within SAP’s innovation ecosystem in Southeast Europe. in this role, he leads teams contributing to SAP’s global technology and services portfolio'

With extensive experience in technology leadership, software development, and business transformation, Bogdan is passionate about building high-performing teams, driving innovation, and creating opportunities for the next generation of digital talent. Adam Dudits is Regional Director, Academic Partnerships for the MEE region at SAP, where he works with universities, educators, and industry partners to help prepare the next generation of digital talent.

With a career spanning more than four decades, Adam has held leadership positions across international business, public administration, and the technology industry. Since joining SAP in 1999, he has served in various leadership roles, including Managing Director of SAP Labs Hungary from 2005 to 2013, where he played a key role in the company’s establishment and growth.

Since 2013, Adam has been dedicated to strengthening collaboration between academia and industry across Central and Eastern Europe, supporting universities in integrating SAP technologies, business processes, and digital skills into higher education.

Dan Besleaga is a Senior Business Manager at SAP Romania (Bucharest) with over two decades of progressive leadership experience in SAP professional services and consulting delivery. He is a legal representative for Customer Services and Delivery organization acting as SAP Romania Administrator for this community.

He currently serves as Head of BTP Global Delivery Hub Romania, leading a large organization of development and technical consultants across Romania, responsible for the adoption of SAP private and public BTP solutions across the Europe region mainly.

Prior to his current role, Dan served as Head of the SAP Near Shore Center Romania and run various leadership roles and initiatives on SAP regional and global level, being in SAP ecosystem since more than 25 years now.

Dan has graduated Computer Science courses from Military Technical Academy, have studied Master in Business Administration at Henley Management College in UK and his career is covering Public and Private sectors organizations to work for.

André Biener serves as Director DACH at SAP SE, responsible for the SAP University Alliances Program in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He has been working at SAP for 20+ years in various roles in industry marketing, corporate communications, business consulting, government relations, and operations. Prior to SAP, he worked in the telecommunications and software sectors in Germany and the United States with global players as well as startups.

For many years, alongside his role at SAP, he has been active in the field of social entrepreneurship, as a coach, trainer, as well as a systemic consultant and lecturer at various academic institutions. He holds a degree in Business Communications and an MBA from universities in Germany and the United States where he studied on a Fulbright scholarship.

Viorel Costin BANȚA, PhD, Lecturer, is an academic, researcher, and SAP expert with an interdisciplinary background in engineering, enterprise systems, and accounting. He holds two PhDs: one in Mechatronics and Robotics from the University of Craiova and a second in Accounting from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. His professional and research interests include accounting information systems, ERP systems, SAP, artificial intelligence, Microsoft Office technologies, robotic process automation, Power Automate, and project management.

He has more than 22 years of hands-on experience in SAP, with expertise covering SAP Basis, SD, MM, PP, PS, cross-functional integration, and process automation. At the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems, he teaches courses related to ERP systems, SAP, SME digitalization, financial-accounting software, management information systems, software tools for marketing projects, and software robots for business process automation. His teaching activity combines academic rigor with practical experience gained from complex digital transformation and enterprise systems projects.

Dr. Banța has also developed a strong research profile, with ISI-indexed publications, articles in internationally recognized databases, and numerous presentations at international conferences. His work focuses on the practical use of digital technologies in accounting, business process optimization, ERP implementation, and organizational automation. Through his academic, professional, and research activity, he actively promotes the integration of SAP, AI, automation, and digital tools into modern business education and practice.

Yuri Kupriianov, Dr. is Teaching Offering Manager for App Development & Coding on the SAP University Alliances Programs & Portfolio team, responsible for the technical teaching offerings development and launch with a primary focus on the SAP Business Technology Platform. As Country Manager for the Eastern Europe & Central Asia cluster, he leads SAP’s university collaborations across Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and Serbia, supporting SAP teaching assets advancement in academic teaching, faculty training, and student engagement initiatives with regional partner and customer ecosystem. Sînziana-Maria Rîndașu is Vice Dean for International Relations and Research at the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems, and a Lecturer in the Department of Management Information Systems. She holds a PhD in information security applied to accounting and has completed advanced studies in IT and communication security.  Her work lies at the intersection of accounting, auditing, and digital technologies. Dr Rîndașu's particular interest focuses on how emerging technologies are reshaping economic and financial systems. The main areas of her research focus on the digitalisation of the accounting profession, accounting information systems, sustainability accounting and reporting systems, mobile applications, and cybersecurity. 

Mihnea Alexandru MOISESCU is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers and is currently Dean of the Faculty.  

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, a second bachelor’s degree in Biophysics, a Master of Science in Biophysics and a PhD degree in Systems Engineering. He is specialized in the fields of Discrete Event Dynamical Systems, Advanced Robotics, Advanced Communication Systems and Information Systems. He is author and coauthor of more than 100 research papers presented in International Engineering Conferences and published in conference proceedings.

Nathalie Wolf is a Doctoral Candidate and Researcher at the Chair of Information Systems and Business Process Management at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, since 2023. Nathalie's research interests comprise process science, data engineering, and sustainability. In addition to her research, she works at the SAP University Competence Center (UCC), where she is responsible for SAP solutions in enterprise resource planning and analytics, such as SAP S/4HANA.
