Founder of YO! Sushi, YOTEL, and the YO! Company

Simon Woodroffe OBE is the founder of the YO! brand - home to the internationally renowned YO! Sushi conveyor belt restaurants and YOTEL, the award-winning compact luxury hotel concept now operating globally.

After 30 years in the entertainment industry - producing rock 'n' roll stage shows for the likes of Rod Stewart and Stevie Wonder, and financing concerts for Nelson Mandela and Amnesty International - Simon channelled his instinct for experience into business. YO! Sushi launched as a full entertainment concept, and the brand has since expanded into hospitality and urban living with YOTEL and YO! Home.

Widely recognised as one of the UK's most compelling entrepreneurial voices, Simon was an original panelist on the BBC's Dragons' Den and was awarded an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours 2006 for his services to the hospitality industry.

Beyond business, Simon founded the YO! Foundation to support charitable causes close to his heart, and has partnered with The Times to offer a unique mentoring programme giving aspiring entrepreneurs access to his experience and network.

A natural storyteller, Simon brings an honest, cliché-free perspective on building a brand from the ground up - equally relevant to large corporates and start-ups alike.

Sonya Domanski

Head of Communications

Sonya Domanski is a Communications and Operations technology leader, helping global organisations turn strategy into measurable impact.

Sonya is currently Head of Communications, SAP UK & Ireland - one of SAP's most significant markets globally. Linking SAP's corporate strategy and market priorities, she is responsible for leading external, executive and internal communications strategies across the region, and sits on the UKI Senior Leadership Team.

Prior to SAP, Sonya served as Vice President, Head of Group CTO Office at Telenor Group, responsible for operations and board activities across the Group Technology organisation, and operational leadership across strategic programmes including Telenor's AI-First strategy. She has also held past leadership roles at Google Cloud and Accenture.

Based in London, Sonya brings 17 years of experience working across the UK, European, Asia-Pacific and Global Markets, and is a graduate of The University of Melbourne.
