Wärtsilä has embarked their SuccessFactors journey already some 10 years ago - moving from Succession Planning to implementing Recruitment, Performance, Goals and Variable Pay modules and finally the Employee Central in 2020 - shortly ahead of the HR transformation which took place in 2021.

Upon the HR transformation journey we have recognized that our way of utilising SuccessFactors is not optimal – while it is not serving our company vision and strategy, and efficient people processes enabling them, we also do not use the full potential of the solution which purpose is to serve as our master data system.
