Emmanuel (Manos) Raptopoulos is the President of SAP’s EMEA region, comprising BeLux, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Nordics, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, and the whole of the Middle East and Africa. Raptopoulos leads a team of ~14,000 employees across 89 countries tasked with helping businesses of all sizes become sustainable, intelligent enterprises by leveraging SAP’s end-to-end suite of applications and innovative cloud services that enable customers to operate profitably, adapt continuously, and make a difference.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience, Raptopoulos started at SAP in 1998. During his tenure, he has held different roles in Consulting, Presales and Sales with his most recent position being as Regional President of EMEA South, a subset of the new EMEA region. Prior to this, Raptopoulos served as the Managing Director for SAP Italy & Greece and as Chief Operating Officer for SAP’s EMEA South region for five years.
A strong advocate of education to promote entrepreneurship and equal opportunity, Raptopoulos who also serves on the Board of MADE – Competence Center for Industry 4.0, believes in the human power of innovation and technology to tackle challenges at scale.
Raptopoulos holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. He is based in Milan.
