Jessica Alba, a distinguished Latina of Mexican American heritage, is an accomplished actress, New York Times bestselling author, astute businesswoman, and passionate advocate for underserved communities.

Known for her acting versatility, Jessica has portrayed a wide and diverse range of characters, in lighthearted comedies, gripping dramas and commanding roles in high-powered action films, leaving an indelible mark on both television and film.

She recently launched a new production company, created with her vision to craft elevated, compelling, and dynamic storytelling that captivates, educates, and enriches audiences. Committed to collaboration with diverse artists and creators, Jessica aims to produce top- tier content that pushes the boundaries of storytelling across film, television, and digital media, with a specific focus on female- driven, culturally diverse, and Latino-inspired narratives.

In 2012, inspired by the impact of her own childhood health issues and birth of her first child, Jessica launched The Honest Company, a personal care company dedicated to creating clean- and sustainably- designed products spanning categories across diapers, wipes, baby personal care, beauty, apparel, household care and wellness. The company was founded with a mission to challenge ingredients, ideals and industries through the power of the Honest brand, the Honest team, and the Honest Standard.

In 2021, Alba became the youngest Latina to take a company public with the initial public offering of The Honest Company (NASDAQ: HNST). In 2024, 12 years after founding The Honest Company, she stepped down from her role as Chief Creative Officer following record quarterly sales and profits for the fourth quarter of 2023 to shift her creative energy to her many other endeavors. She continues to provide support and leadership as a member of Honest’s board of directors. In addition to The Honest Company, Jessica currently serves as a board member for Yahoo, LA28 and Baby2Baby.

Alongside her success in entertainment and business, Jessica is a dedicated activist and agent for social change. This commitment led her to be a vocal advocate for clean ingredient policy at the federal level where she testified on Capitol Hill in 2011 and 2015 (in support of the Safe Chemicals Act, a revision to the a revision of the Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976).

Jessica utilizes her influential platform to champion opportunities for individuals from marginalized backgrounds, ensuring they receive the recognition and resources they deserve. Her impactful leadership has been acknowledged through prestigious accolades, including gracing the cover of Forbes’ “Self- Made Women” issue, being honored as one of Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business, securing a spot- on Fortune’s esteemed list of 10 Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs, earning the title of Entrepreneur of the Year by UK Glamour, and being recognized as a member of Vanity Fair’s esteemed Next Establishment.
