Dina Dayal Bio

Dina Dayal is responsible for helping SAP customers reimagine their business by transforming the way they leverage their assets to enable businesses growth. Her area of focus has been customer innovation, recently focusing on the SAP Leonardo system commonly known for the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, and machine learning. She helps customers leverage their enterprise data and assets and data from sensors, social media, and third parties to generate ideas around improving and automating their business processes and predictive capabilities and generating new business models. Dina is a thought leader and brings the customer’s point of view to the conversation. 


Before joining SAP in 2014, Dina served as global VP of IT at Newell Rubbermaid for more than eight years. In this role, she helped build the strategic direction from an IT and business enabler perspective for a global technology rollout. She was instrumental in transforming the company and delivering IT simplification savings as part of the transformation initiative across IT, HR, and finance, sponsored by the office of the CEO. Dina held several roles at Newell Rubbermaid, including leading global analytics and quality assurance as a program director for the worldwide rollout across all business segments, spanning the CPG, retail, medical, and industrial sectors. Dina bringing value and actionable insights to the business partners and leadership team was a key to their success leveraging people, processes, and innovative technologies. 


Dina brings over 23 years of experience in implementing SAP solutions and leveraging systems to generate new business outcomes and make better business decisions across various industries. Prior to Newell Rubbermaid, Dina held roles with Decision First Technologies and The Home Depot and served as a consultant with KPMG for nine years. She studied at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.
