Chief Commercial Officer




Franck is responsible for SAP’s go-to-market, operations, and all underlying processes across all lines of business globally. He also oversees the SME business and SAP’s top strategic customers. Franck’s third responsibility is to ensure that innovations, such as AI and machine learning, stay top of mind. Franck reports directly to Bill McDermott, CEO of SAP. 


Franck joined SAP in 2009 as senior vice president and COO for SAP EMEA, and in 2011 he was appointed president of SAP EMEA. In January 2015, his responsibilities were extended to also include Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern European countries. 


Franck began his technology career in 1987, when he successfully launched and ran an enterprise resource planning (ERP) reseller in France. Ten years later, he joined Intentia, a Swedish ERP company, where he held several roles, including general manager of the EMEA region and senior vice president of sales worldwide. In 2006, when Intentia merged with Lawson Software, Franck remained with the new company as general manager for the EMEA region. He subsequently relocated to the United States to lead the North American sales organization. 


Franck studied mathematics and electronic engineering at Tel Aviv University. He has lived in Israel, Singapore, Sweden, the United States, and France and is fluent in six languages.
