Respected within Hitachi Consulting and its customer base as a creative problem solver and strategic leader, Engel effectively manages a team of experts in many industries, including metals and mining, discrete manufacturing, oil and gas, chemicals, consumer packaged goods, automotive, private equity investment, and more.


Engel’s team are industry experts with years of field experience. They are sought after to contribute to industry journals and conferences and have been recognized for their expertise by trade associations and the media. They implement solutions in categories that include end-to-end supply chain, order fulfillment, strategic sourcing, digital solutions, sales team development, and more.

Prior to joining Hitachi Consulting, Engel was with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting (AABC). Prior to AABC, he spent more than nine years in the commercial aerospace industry in a variety of roles.
