Matt Hooper

Matthew Hooper is the co-creator and host of Live! From Tomorrow. Previously, he was the VP of Open Innovation at Barclays and Head of Rise New York, where he led partnerships between early stage fintech startups and the Barclays investment bank. Prior to that, he was at Startup NEXT co-running their NYC pre-accelerator.

Sophie Wade

Sophie is the founder and Workforce Innovation Specialist at Flexcel Network. Sophie is the author of Embracing Progress. Next Steps for the Future of Work. She speaks, writes and consults on wide-ranging Future of Work issues impacting companies, their employees and extended workforce. Topics include attracting, engaging and retaining talent; managing distributed workers; workplace flexibility; intergenerational communication; ongoing training and reskilling; and new career paradigms. 

Brian Platt

Brian Platt is the Chief Innovation Officer for Jersey City, NJ and helped first establish the office in 2015.  Brian previously worked for McKinsey & Company, was also a kindergarten teacher with Teach For America.  Brian recently completed his Masters in Public Administration at Columbia University and teaches Olympic weightlifting at CrossFit Jersey City.  He is also a volunteer Emergency Medical Responder with United Rescue and is a former Captain of his hometown volunteer fire department
