Definition of Session Types



These sessions feature case studies, success stories on SAP solutions, and strategic topics, followed by Q&A discussions – all in open seating. (20 minutes)


Interactive Session

These very popular sessions focus on a specific topic and encourage conversations between speakers and the audience. (40 minutes)


Panel Discussion

These sessions bring together a group of people with unique knowledge of a strategic or trending topic to discuss related issues and ideas in a talk show format, with one host leading a conversation with three panellists. (40 minutes)


Topic Station

These stations provide one-on-one interaction with SAP software experts on a particular topic. The stations are open during show floor hours and do not require an appointment.


Demo Session

These popular product demos are scheduled at specific times so you can plan ahead. They are also featured at corresponding Topic Stations. (20 minutes)



These informal sessions provide attendees with the opportunity to network and meet others with common interests, roles, or business challenges.


Ask the Customer

This highly interactive discussion format provides an opportunity to learn from your peers what it takes to adopt and support SAP solutions successfully. Ask other SAP customers questions about their projects during customer-to-customer group discussion sessions that can be scheduled during show floor hours.  (40 minutes)


Ask the Expert

Get direct guidance from SAP experts and ask questions in this highly interactive format. Do you have questions about how to move to SAP S/4HANA, take advantage of the cloud, innovate with SAP Leonardo, or achieve continuous success? Ask the experts during these expert-to-customer group discussion sessions that can be scheduled during show floor hours.  (40 minutes)


Small Theater Presentation

These sessions feature case studies and success stories on partner solutions, hosted by exhibiting partners and/or their customers – all in open seating. (20 minutes)


ASUG Pre-Conference Seminar

These half-day or full-day sessions cover the hottest topics related to SAP software. They require separate registration and additional fees apply. These sessions will only be held on Monday, June 4, 2018.


ASUG Industry Day

The Special Interest Group for the railway industry will meet on Monday, June 4, 2018, from 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on the third floor in the ASUG Education Zone. Preregistration is required at No additional fees apply.
