Definition of Session Types
Ask the Customer: 

This highly interactive discussion format provides an opportunity to learn from your peers about what it takes to adopt and support SAP solutions successfully. Ask other SAP customers questions about their projects during customer-to-customer group discussion sessions that can be scheduled during show floor hours. Customers are available during certain blocks of time to engage in discussions.  (40 minutes) 

 
Ask the Expert: 

Get direct guidance from SAP experts and ask questions in this highly interactive format. Ask the experts during these expert-to-customer group discussion sessions that can be scheduled during show floor hours. SAP experts are available during certain blocks of time to engage in discussions.  (20 minutes)  


ASUG Industry Day: 

The Special Interest Groups (SIG) for the Rail and Utilities industries will meet on Monday, May 6 on the third floor in the ASUG Education Zone.  The Rail SIG will meet from 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. in Room S310EF, and the Utilities SIG will meet from 1:30 p.m.–5:00 p.m. in Room S310GH. Preregistration is required at ASUG.com/events. No additional fees apply. 


ASUG Pre-Conference Seminar: 

These half-day or full-day sessions cover the hottest topics related to SAP software. They require separate registration and an additional fee applies. These sessions will only be held on Monday, May 6, 2019. 


Best-Run Theater Presentation: 

These sessions take a deeper dive into the topics from each day’s main keynote and feature case studies, success stories on SAP solutions, and strategic topics hosted by influential speakers from the SAP leadership team, strategic partners, and some of SAP’s largest customers – open seating for 500. (20 minutes)  


Demo Session: 

These popular product demos are scheduled at specific times, so you can plan. They are also featured at corresponding Topic Stations – seating for 45. (20 minutes) 


Interactive Session:

These very popular sessions focus on a specific topic with a moderator and encourage interactive discussions between speakers and the audience – open seating for 45. (40 minutes) 

 

Panel Discussion: 

These sessions bring together a group of people with unique knowledge of a strategic or trending topic to discuss related issues and ideas in a talk show format, with one host leading a conversation with three panellists – open seating for 150. (40 minutes) 


Small Theater Presentation: 

These sessions feature case studies, success stories and overviews on solutions, and Services and Support offerings – open seating for 45. (20 minutes) 

 

Theater Presentation: 

These sessions are held in each Neighborhood with customers and exhibiting partner presentations and case studies – open seating for 150. (20 minutes) 
 

Topic Station: 

These stations provide one-on-one interaction with SAP software experts on a topic. The stations are open during show floor hours and do not require an appointment. 

 

Workshop:  

NEW in 2019: These workshops are interactive, working sessions that yield a clear outcome for participants.  Led by two moderators – space for 16. (40 minutes)
