Jimmy Graham is an American football tight end (TE) for the Green Bay Packers. He is a two-time All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler, as well as an avid pilot.
Despite having a difficult upbringing, Graham persevered through high school and earned himself a basketball scholarship to the University of Miami. After a successful career with the Miami Hurricanes men’s basketball team from 2005 to 2009, he stayed at University of Miami to take graduate classes and played a season of football. After finishing his lone collegiate football season, Graham was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
In March of 2015, Jimmy was traded to the Seattle Seahawks, where he passed the 5,000 yard receiving milestone. He now holds single season and career all time tight-end franchise records for receptions, yards, and touchdowns for both the Saints and Seahawks. After three years in Seattle, Graham signed a three year contract with the Green Bay Packers.
In addition, and parallel to Graham’s storied athletic career, he has pursued his passion for aviation. In 2011 he earned his private pilots’ license and has since added complex airplane, instrument airplane, tailwheel, multi-engine airplane, seaplane, helicopter, and instrument helicopter certifications to his resume. Graham takes pride in giving back to the community and partners with the Wounded Warrior foundation and Angel Flight. As the current Co-Chairman of the EAA Young Eagles Program, he strives to inspire the next generation of aviators.
