About the SAP Next-Gen Chapter Conference and SAP University Alliances Boot Camps

 

Professors from SAP University Alliances / SAP Next-Gen member institutions are invited to attend the SAP Next-Gen Chapter Conference and SAP University Alliances Boot Camps July 14 – 19, 2019 at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Lubar School of Business.

 

The events are organized and co-hosted by the University Competence Centers and SAP Next-Gen Chapters at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and California State University, Chico. To cover costs associated with the conference, UW-Milwaukee charges a fee for registering and attending (see conference tickets here).

 

Join faculty from the Americas and globally to hear innovations in teaching with learning resources from SAP University Alliances and SAP Next-Gen, including the latest curriculum on SAP S/4HANA and certification opportunities for students and faculty, as well as new learning content on Qualtrics which is now an SAP company and is the global leader in software for Experience Management.

 

Learn high impact practices for integrating SAP and Qualtrics learning content into classroom teaching. Hear how you can incorporate the latest technology developments into curriculum, and more. Gain hands on experience with SAP software and UCC hosted systems and blended learning resources for successful classroom use.

 

The SAP University Alliances Boot Camps are taught in train-the-trainer format and introduce participants to the latest SAP solutions and methodology-based curriculum as well as best practices for successful classroom use. A new two day boot camp on Qualtrics Experience Management is offered twice and introduces the power of “Connecting the Xs and Os” and how experience management (XM) is the process of monitoring every interaction people experience with a company in order to spot opportunities for improvement. Learn more.

General Information

 

The SAP Next-Gen Chapter Conference is organized by the SAP Next-Gen Chapter and University Competence Center location at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. UW-Milwaukee charges a fee for registering and attending. Please register for the SAP Next-Gen Chapter Conference here.

 

The SAP University Alliances Boot Camps are open to faculty at SAP University Alliances member institutions.  Institutions may be a full member or an associate member. There is no fee to register or attend the boot camps, however your campus needs to cover your travel expenses (flight, ground transportation, hotel, meals, etc).

 

Dress is business casual for the entire event. Relax, learn, network, enjoy.

 

You may find weather information for Milwaukee. We suggest you get directions from the airport to your chosen hotel, and from your hotel to the University from a site such Google Maps.

 

Classes will begin each day at 9:00 am local time and will run until 5:00 pm. Sessions end at 5:00 pm on the last day of all boot camps; please plan travel accordingly.

 

Light refreshments will be provided mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Participants are responsible for all meals including breakfast and lunch.  Lunch may be purchased at the campus student union or at nearby restaurants.

 

You will be advised of specific room locations for your boot camp upon arrival at UW-Milwaukee.
