Judy works in the Stanford School of Engineering, in the Institute for Computational & Mathematical Engineering (ICME). She is Co-Director of the WiDS Conference, a one-day global technical conference featuring outstanding women doing work in data science, across a wide range of domains. She is responsible for creating a new conference model, turning the conference into a global movement. 

Prior to Stanford, Judy's roles have ranged from VP of Marketing Communications and Demand Creation at Netscape Communications to Field Marketing at Apple Computer, to Director of Customer and Partner Marketing at Act-On Software.

Michelle sits on the board of Techtonica, a nonprofit that helps guide women and non-binary individuals into the technology industry.

Allie K. Miller is the Head of AI Growth for Startups and Venture Capital at Amazon, advancing the greatest AI companies in the world. Allie was recently named Forbes "AI Innovator of the Year", LinkedIn Top Voice for Technology, and serves as National Ambassador for AAAS and Advancing Women in Product. Previously, Allie was the youngest-ever woman to build an AI product at IBM—spearheading product development across computer vision, conversation, data, and regulation. Outside of work, Allie has spoken about AI and field diversity around the world, addressed the European Commission, drafted national AI strategies, and created eight guidebooks to educate businesses on how to build successful AI projects. Allie is based in San Francisco and holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Cognitive Science from Dartmouth College.

Jenny is the strategy lead for SAP's developer relations program where her focus is to build a healthy and authentic developer program. She has more than 20 years of experience working with new products and technologies being part of SAP’s Product and Innovation organization. Meghana is a biostatistician by training, currently working on ML and Data Science projects to better healthcare outcomes and delivery, at Kaiser Permanente’s Division of Research. Faith Xu is a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, working on Machine Learning frameworks and tools. She is an evangelist for adoption of ONNX with community partners to promote an open ecosystem in AI.

Nicole is a decision scientist working at the intersections of customer experience, emerging technologies and new product development. She is currently head of Strategy for the SAP Innovation Center Network (SAP’s technology research center) where she examines the implications of the increasingly modular, connected, intelligent software on business and society. Previously, Nicole led data science for the SAP.iO Venture Studio where she helped early-stage start-ups adopt a culture of experimentation. Partnering with venture teams to help them collect, analyze, and make decisions from their data, as well as to integrate Machine Learning and AI into new products.

Michelle Carney is a Computational Neuroscientist turned UX'er, whose practice focuses on the intersection of Data Science and UX. Currently a Senior UX Researcher on Google’s AIUX Team, Michelle's projects focus on combining Machine Learning and UX on cool projects happening at Google AI, including the People + AI Research team! Outside of work, Michelle organizes the Machine Learning and UX Meetup.

Amanda is a co-founder of Streamlit, an open-source library that lets you turn your data science code into apps that you can share with your colleagues. Prior to Streamlit, Amanda led product and operations for several stealthy Google and Google X projects and served as Director of Launch Operations for Zoox. Arnold is the president of SAP Data Network, a business unit initiated by the Executive Board in May 2016, that runs like a startup inside SAP. The new business unit focuses on delivering a turnkey, cloud solution for data monetization to extract increased value out of data, derive new business models, and deliver unprecedented outcomes for SAP’s customers – all while enabling privacy and security of the data used. This appointment capitalizes on her strong background of leading the digital transformation for SAP as former CIO and chief process officer. As a designer and data scientist in IDEO's San Francisco studio, Lisa is passionate about creating impact through human centered data science and design, be it for high-level strategy or prototyping products and services. Since joining IDEO Chicago as part of the Datascope acquisition, she has been one of the pioneers integrating data science into multidisciplinary design teams. In mid-2019, she relocated from IDEO Chicago to the San Francisco studio to be one of the first IDEO data scientists in the Bay area. In her work, she helps design teams and clients approach questions around how to design ethically with data. Before joining IDEO, Lisa earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Chicago. In search of a more human-centered avenue for her quantitative skills, she discovered and fell in love with data science as a volunteer research assistant for UChicago's Data Science for Social Good Program. Lisa is deeply curious and is passionate about educational outreach, formerly (when she lived in Chicago) serving as a committee chair with a nonprofit organization aimed at providing STEM role models for young women. Srujana is a Data Science & Analytics evangelist and advocate of using data science for social good. She has expertise in using applied intelligence techniques of machine learning for marketing & customer analytics. As a Director of Data Science & Value Realization at Walmart Labs, she leads data science portfolio to solve for unique business use cases to drive quantifiable data value. Srujana has held positions with Accenture, Google, and Hewlett Packard all in data science leadership capacities. She has had numerous articles in data science published in The Harvard Business Review (HBR) and INFORMS, among others. She earned her MBA in Operational Research, an Executive graduation in Analytics Strategy Management from Harvard University, and completed the Executive Program for Women Leaders at Stanford University. Margaret Tomaszczuk is Head of Product and Customer Experience at Cultivate, an A.I. solution that helps enterprises scale leadership development and improve employee experience during digital transformation. Using Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing on digital collaboration data, Cultivate provides managers with real-time awareness on how they interact with their team and personalized nudges to improve. Margaret partners with Cultivate’s Fortune 500 enterprise clients to scale leadership development globally. Before joining Cultivate, Margaret was a product lead at Jetlore, now a PayPal company, with clients including JC Penney, eBay and LG. She is passionate about promoting interdisciplinary thought in technology and A.I., and ethical A.I. design. She studied Anthropology and Computer Science at Stanford University.

Joanna Riley, CEO and Founder of Censia, has led her team to build an artificial intelligence and machine learning-based predictive recruiting solution powered by talent intelligence—automating the process of identifying talent for opportunities in the most efficient and fairest way possible. Jo has a highly experienced background in building and scaling companies with two private exits and leading her last company through a successful IPO where she oversaw its growth and onto the S&P/ASX300 Index. Cynthia is a Senior Data Scientist in the SAP Ariba Platform team. She works in recommendation systems trained by using a trial and error approach based on Reinforcement Learning. Her methods allow a procurement marketplace to provide recommendations for new users with minimum data while staying compliant to GDPR. Cynthia’s previous work focused on detecting suspicious activity on the Bitcoin Blockchain through a combination of graph analytics and machine learning. Prior to joining Ariba, Cynthia worked at Coinalytics/Skry. She hails from Tijuana, Mexico and received a bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego. Cynthia earned a Ph.D. in Computational & Applied Mathematics from Rice University. Her doctoral work encompasses combinatorial optimization and graph theory with applications ranging from neuroscience to logistics.

As Vice President for Artificial Intelligence, Krithika Swaminathan is responsible for leading the Consumer Applications and Security, Risk and Fraud teams for the Intuit AI organization. 

An accomplished technology leader, Krithika has a proven track record for delivering transformational organizational and business results over more than a decade with Intuit. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Platform Engineering for the Consumer Group (TurboTax, Turbo, Mint) and Vice President for Site Reliability, Security and Quality Engineering. 

Krithika has received the YMCA Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) award and Intuit’s prized CEO Leadership Award. She is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of women in technology and an active participant in Tech Women @ Intuit initiatives.

Sirisha leads a global team of developers focused on building an integrated Suite of Cloud HR solutions. She also drives several cross-suite initiatives in SuccessFactors such as GDPR, Embedded Analytics and Conversational Chatbots. She started her career at SAP SuccessFactors 10 years ago as one of the first engineers on their core HR Product, Employee Central. Sirisha has more than 20 years experience in the industry, having worked previously at Oracle and NASA.

Sally is a design thinker and creative problem solver working in the User Experience field. She started her career as a Mechanical Engineer designing handheld and laptop computers. Along the way, she fell in love with user experience design. Sally has spent 20 years improving people's lives by creating delightful experiences that humanize design. She is the Sr. Director of Innovation and Design Research at SAP AppHaus. The AppHaus team is responsible for delivering amazing and unforgettable customer experiences which contribute to the growth of SAP. As an Innovation Coach, Sally leads SAP customers out of their comfort zones into innovative design-led organizations.  It was at SAP where she was trained and immersed in design thinking methodologies. Sally has taught and led design thinking workshops for some of the largest global companies, in a variety of industries. As a mom of two girls, Sally is passionate about introducing young girls to STEM and Women in Tech.

Domitilla helps promising early stage startups plug into SAP’s multi-billion-dollar ecosystem. In her role as Program Manager at SAP.io Foundry, a leading corporate startup accelerator, Domitilla helps startups build integrations with SAP solutions and connect to SAP customers and partners. She is passionate about helping early stage startups scale, with a particular focus on women entrepreneurs. Outside SAP, Domitilla is actively involved in several women-focused communities, including The Expat Woman, Technovation, and Women Founders Unite. Caitie is the program manager for Silicon Valley Next Talent program (SVNT) and known as a thought leader for developing talent and the controller of chaos. She is responsible for recruiting, training, and retaining up to 90 recently graduated developers, data scientists, and designers for an 18-month rotational program. Her focus is on providing strategic, impactful and visible projects, 3 layers of mentorship, actionable training, and standardizing recruitment to avoid bias – resulting in hiring diverse candidates and 50% females into technical roles. Caitie earned a dual bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Cruz in Literature and Psychology as well as Master of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology from San Jose State University.

Richa Namballa is a data scientist and product owner at SAP Ariba. After graduating from UC Berkeley with dual degrees in Statistics and Business Administration, Richa joined SAP through Silicon Valley Next Talent, a rotational program for new grads. She rotated at both SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Jam before finally selecting her current team, Machine Learning Business Network, as her final placement. Over the past three years, Richa has tackled use cases utilizing natural language processing and traditional statistical modeling, but, more importantly, she understands the disappointment of seeing your data science work not make it into production. She hopes to ensure that data science and machine learning are only used where appropriate and that models are practical, scalable, and value-driven rather than exhibitionist. She has also briefly worked on anomaly detection framework in the ads system at Facebook. A feminist by heart, she was involved as Director of Women Who Code and Lead of Google Women Techmakers for a handful of years to help bridge gender gap in technology. I am a senior and M.Eng. student at MIT, studying computer science. My main interest is in artificial intelligence for healthcare, and in ensuring that it makes the field more effective, equitable, and transparent. This includes (1) researching how to reduce bias in medical AI, (2) uncovering inequity and social determinants of health from data, and (3) improving disease prevention, diagnosis, and care delivery by developing new technologies and data-driven inferences.

Emma Ning is a senior Product manager in AI Framework team under Microsoft Cloud + AI Group, focusing on AI model operationalization and acceleration with ONNX/ONNX Runtime for open and interoperable AI. She has more than five years of product experience in search engine taking advantage of machine learning techniques and spent more than three years exploring AI adoption among various businesses. She is passionate about bringing AI solutions to solve business problems as well as enhance product experience.

Cecilia is a software engineer at Microsoft where she focuses on building an open format to represent deep learning models. She is currently part of the development team for Open Neural Network eXchange project (ONNX). Passionate about human-centered AI, Cecilia hopes to unmask the mystery of AI to both technical and nontechnical users. Ashwini Khade is a software engineer on AI Frameworks team at Microsoft Corp. 

She has over eight years of experience in multiple facets of software engineering including embedded systems, cloud services, search and deep learning frameworks. More recently, Ashwini‘s work has been focused on the development of ONNXRuntime inference engine for deploying AI models at scale in production. Prior to joining Microsoft, Ashwini completed Masters in Computer Science from the University of Florida.

Vinitra Swamy is an AI Software Engineer at Microsoft, working on tools to enable interoperable & efficient machine learning. She is a member of the ONNX engineering team, collaborating with community partners to promote an open ecosystem in AI. Puntis Palazzolo is a Sr. Data Scientist at SAP where she manages the SAP Big Data solution, SAP Data Hub/Intelligence, Developer-focused and Advanced Analytics topics in her role in SAP Data Hub/Intelligence Product Management team. Serena is a senior data scientist at the analytics consultancy Bardess, currently based in Toronto, Canada. 

Before joining Bardess, she has worked both in academia as an ML researcher and in the industry as a data science consultant on the Australian, British and Canadian markets. Serena is passionate about education, community and tech for good and she splits her free time between mentoring data science students, organizing meetups and volunteering.

Eva Sasson runs product growth at San-Francisco based startup Persona, with a background and interest in data science and ethics, and previous work experience at Sentry, Twilio, and Google. Sasson holds an MSc in Business Analytics and Management Science from University College London, where she explored building data science models in Python. Sasson presented about Network Graphs at the Sunbelt Conference in Utrecht, Netherlands, Pycon Canada, PyBay and about Machine Learning Bias at DataDay Mexico, in addition to speaking engagements at the United Nations Human Rights Counsel in Geneva. Hiranmayi has been working as a data scientist at Vacasa for the last two years. While there, she has developed products that touch guests and field staff, who are both the heart of the company and are the majority of those we serve. Having worked with all different levels of the company, she has been exposed to various types of projects and stakeholders and ways to approach both. Previously having worked on the algorithm at the heart of an AI-based FinTech startup, after publishing academic research in Information Retrieval, Elinor Brondwine is now working as a Machine Learning Engineer @Workday, getting a new perspective on production at scale.

Tanya joined SAP, leader in business ERP solutions in June 2019 as a Data Scientist in the Machine Learning Business Network team. As a data scientist on the team, Tanya conducts research to develop cutting edge intelligent solutions to challenging problems for the SAP software suite. Prior to that she was a graduate student at UC Berkeley where she worked in Deep Learning and her research focused on making biometric EEG authentication systems robust to adversarial attacks. In previous roles she was a Data Analyst at ZS Associates and a undergrad student at Thapar University in India.

Shruti Bhargava is a Data Scientist at SAP, part of the Ariba Machine Learning Business Network team in Palo Alto. 

She graduated from Stanford University with a Masters in Computational and Mathematical Engineering - specializing in Data Science. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering. At SAP, she works on applying deep learning and machine learning to enterprise use cases.
