Welcome to Young Africans in Tech!
Our program is aimed at inspiring the next generation of Africans in tech and to bring light to African women in tech around the world and celebrate their achievements. We operate through 3 pillars:
- Learning: Through our monthly sessions hosted by inspiring African women who speak on different topics, we give our young Africans in tech a chance to interact with these amazing women in tech from around the world, learn from them, get inspired by them, and grow together. We have interesting, exciting, and fun content including exclusive interviews, collaborations with speakers inside and outside SAP, interactive sessions, Ask Me Anything sessions, live presentations, learning sessions, workshops, and much more! All our sessions are recorded too, so if you have missed any, you can watch them all right here.
- Growing: Through our mentorships, we offer young Africans a chance to get guidance and support from our exceptional mentors who have vast experience in tech and other industries.
- Uniting: Through our quarterly networking sessions, we want young Africans across the world and in different sectors to come together, exchange ideas, motivate each other, and network.
We additionally want to work together to build awareness and buzz for the tech world in our communities. Our concept is Africans supporting Africans!
