The SAP Young Thinkers Learning Festival was organized in a truly international and virtual format! From July 27 to August 1, 2020, our virtual event set the scene for the snap!Con 2020 hosted by University of California, Berkeley. The program included inspiring learning sessions, challenging self-paced learning modules and a fun show & tell. We created code and ideas for our future, collaborated with young thinkers from all over the world and celebrated our talents!
09:30 – 10:00 am PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) / 6:30 – 7:00 pm CEST (Central European Summer Time)
In a 30 minute kick-off session you will meet your peers and our team. We will give you all the information you need to enjoy the festival.
8:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) / 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm CEST (Central European Summer Time)
Get inspired by our interactive learning sessions and learn from our fantastic experts everything around Snap!. Explore how you can translate your idea to code! You will be able to choose from a variety of English and German sessions throughout the festival. The sessions will be scheduled in intervals within the given timeframe.
Discover your talents with our self-paced learning modules. They will be available throughout the event and we will offer help if you get stuck. Of course, you should feel encouraged to work with your peers and ask for support in our community forums too.

The show & tell will be the highlight of our learning festival. All the groups will come together and share their learnings and excitement. The stage will be yours and you can decide how you want to present - any format is allowed, live or recorded. This session will be part of the official snap!con 2020. We look forward to seeing you rise up among the Snap! geeks!

SAP Young Thinkers provides students knowledge, skills, methodology and technology to inspire a lifetime love of learning and the ability to impact the world. Started in 2015 as a grassroots movement, the SAP Young Thinkers community is more of a mindset than a program – made to inspire young people at secondary and vocational schools and curious IT beginners to learn about computer and data science, as well as economy. The Young Thinkers mindset embraces empathy, exchange, experimental learning, and experience.
