As the managing director for the South for SAP North America, Michael May is responsible for the region’s profitability and strategic direction, and oversees all facets of the organization’s operations, including marketing, services, human
resources, finance, and all client-related activities. Michael leads a team that champions customer success in more than 25 vertical industries, including energy, retail, consumer products, and high tech.
Michael has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, joining SAP in 2011 as part of SAP’s acquisition of SAP SuccessFactors. Michael previously served as chief operating officer for the South and before that as a regional vice president for the market unit. Throughout his 12 years of service with SAP, Michael has distinguished himself as a detail-oriented manager and trusted leader focused on exceptional performance and customer success. Having served with SAP SuccessFactors, coupled with his decade of external experience serving in client-facing roles, Michael brings valuable perspective and experience to SAP, particularly around the topics of digital transformation, cloud computing,
and customer satisfaction.
A graduate of Baylor University, Michael and his wife reside in McKinney, TX with their three children.
