Session Title: It’s All About the Data - How to Increase Equipment Uptime, Maintenance Time on Task, and First-Call Resolution

Abstract:

Asset Master Data has often been ignored or sidelined, or left to Planners and Maintenance Workers to manage. This is due to the overall complexity and specialization of this data domain. As a result, the data is often not aligned to any standards like ISO14224, not logically and consistently represented in the CMMS (SAP Plant Maintenance, for example), and incomplete or even missing completely. Prospecta’s engagement with customers over the last 20+ years shows that 40+% of the data in our customer’s CMMS systems suffers from one or more if these issues. This results in challenges in addressing both break/fix maintenance, as well as having the proper parts and tools to fix things the first time. Planners and Maintenance workers often can’t find the parts they need due to inconsistent representation in short/long text descriptions, or not having the right equipment, assigned to the correct functional location, with a proper Bill of Materials containing accurate spare parts.

Key Takeaways:

  • Learn how Prospecta can partner with you to resolve brownfield issues in your systems and ensure your data remains clean moving forward
  • Discover tools that make requesting new changes easier for business users, while streamlining processes for data stewards to improve automation and efficiency
  • Ensure your SAP and other systems are fully populated and accurate, maximizing the value of your data
  • Leverage AI-centric tools like Prospecta KAI and MDO, our next-generation SaaS data platform, to better understand, improve, and manage your data going forward
