Hosted by Irish Rail at the iconic Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.
Dates: April 21–23, 2026 (Tuesday–Thursday)
Venue: Croke Park
Join us for the SAP Rail and Mobility Annual Congress and the Rail Asset Management (RAM) sessions—three days packed with fresh ideas, practical insights, and collaboration with top industry leaders. Together, we’ll explore the future of rail and mobility and how SAP can contribute to innovate. Expect engaging discussions on customer experiences, along with the latest product updates and solution insights from SAP and its partners.
SAP ECC mainstream support will end between 2025 and 2027, with only costly extended maintenance available thereafter. For organizations running mission-critical SAP systems, these deadlines set a fixed horizon that cannot be ignored.
In railways and mobility, where public procurement and long project cycles are the norm, SAP ECC deadlines demand early action. The real risk isn’t 2027—it’s starting too late. Planning now ensures compliant tenders, controlled costs, and uninterrupted public transport services on the path to S/4HANA.
Highlights and Activities
During registration, you’ll select topics of interest and preferred activities.

SAP AI 2026 strategy and the way we can apply this to the industry cases for maximizing value for Rail and Mobility.
The goal is to have a short introduction to the topic and an open conversation (SAP product coverage, whitespaces, functional, organizational or technical challenges, lessons learned from attendees...) among the participants. The roundtables will run for 20 minutes each, people will rotate in up to three stations, 10-12 people maximum per table.
15 roundtables will be offered at registration (see details on the next tab); the top ten will be running (they choose 3 each participant at the initial registration-resulting in three conversations of 20 minutes each).

Let´s share the status, current and planned outcome related to SAP Best Practices and the Rail Model Company.
Join us for the pre-dinner event..
SAP's Strategic Direction 2026 for railways focuses on an AI-First approach, using AI to optimize maintenance, scheduling, and operations. Agentic AI is the latest development, let`s discuss how this will be adapted and adopted by railways.
SAP's Strategic Direction 2026 for railways focuses too on an Business Data Cloud approach, but Data could have many angles-one of them relates to the general theme of the day: 2027 is approaching and Data stream will need to be a key part of the go live project- but there can be many others... (data driven entities, data strategy, data tools from SAP, data challenges, data location and ownership, data across processes in company or across companies...).
SAP cybersecurity is a critical enabler of S/4HANA migration, embedding security-by-design through identity management, continuous monitoring, and automated security controls across cloud and hybrid landscapes. By integrating security assessments and remediation early in the migration journey, organisations can reduce risk, ensure compliance, and protect mission-critical data while accelerating a safe transition to S/4HANA.
Agile methodology and Agile development relates to the general theme of the day: 2027 is approaching and the need to secure a predictible and un-disruptive S/4Hana migration or transformation project- SAP Agile deployment will need to be a key part of the go live project- understanding SAP best practices or discussing about the challenges and lessons learned from others can be a must for certain customers.
Passenger experience with SAP relates to the use of SAP CX technology+ BTP to provide passenger services support, on the communication, commerce, MAAS, service, loyalty, retail and assessorial ...
Planning operations in rail passenger or logistics is a heavy process involving human resources, asset management and complex rules. How are the SAP solutions giving support to rail operations planning today and what is the need from the industry?
The theme for this roundtable focuses on the need of the industry to provide compliance learning and certifications for the key roles in the organization, being this a must to be able to develop some of the jobs.
Fuel management processes are still, and will for many years, convered very lightly with SAP. How are others doing it and what is best practice from SAP?
RISE builds on the general theme of the day: 2027 is approaching and we all need to secure a smooth S/4Hana migration or transformation to go to cloud- RISE deployment will need to be a key part of the go live project- understanding SAP RISE or discussing about the challenges and lessons learned from others can be a key input.
SAP's Strategic Direction 2026 is based for other markets in a Public cloud-First approach. The public cloud option, with the associated pros and cons for this industry, should be a key part of the decision process for the S4HANA strategy- understanding SAP s/4 public cloud solutions or discussing about the challenges and lessons learned from other solutions or other customers can be a very good insight for the process.
Real Estate relates to the general theme of the day: 2027 is approaching and we need to make sure all our existing processes are covered, or even improved, by S/4Hana migration or transformation- understanding SAP RE solutions + Planon or discussing about the challenges and lessons learned from others can be a very good success enabler.
BRIM for rail can be applied to different aspects and use cases- from the MAAS clearing house, to the revenue assurance for rail public entities, including one invoice for rail logistics or line item reconciliation for infrastructure providers... we can look at the possibilities and define what will be the focus for each discussion.
SAP BTP enables seamless integration during S/4HANA migrations by connecting SAP and non-SAP systems through prebuilt integration content, APIs, and event-driven services. This approach reduces complexity, preserves existing landscapes, and allows organisations to modernise their core while maintaining business continuity and flexibility. Let´s discuss how railways is using it...
Revenue management relates to the general theme of the day: 2027 is approaching and we need to secure a smooth S/4Hana migration or transformation to go to cloud- migration and evolution of the revenue management processes will need to be a key part of the go live project- understanding SAP revenue/funds/planning/profitability analysis solutions or discussing about the challenges and lessons learned from others can be a very good success enabler for the finance area.
