About Travis County:

located in Central Texas. It is the fifth-most populous county in Texas. Its county seat and most populous city is Austin, the state's capital. Established in 1840 by the 4th Congress of the Republic of Texas, and named after William Barret Travis, Travis County prides itself on improving the quality of life of its 1.2 million [census.gov] residents through world-class educational and medical institutions.

SAP Products Landscape:

Travis County has been a customer since 2010 with SAP ERP. In 2017 they went live with SAP SuccessFactors Learning and Performance and Goals. In June of 2025, they continued to expand their SuccessFactors landscape by going live with Employee Central and SuccessFactors Work Zone as the replacement to their SAP Portal. This included using BTP Integration Suite for replication between Employee Central and SAP ECC. They have plans to continue their transformation by migrating from the on-premise SAP ECC system to S/4 HANA Private Cloud Edition in the coming years.
