Agentic AI and Automation workflows using Joule Studio/SAP Build

Join SAP and Semos Cloud as we build one live, end to end. We start with a business data set of our own, already exposed through an MCP server, build the reasoning agent pro code in LangGraph, package and publish it as a Joule Skill using the Joule Studio CLI, and return the result inside Joule as a generative, interactive chart, not a static screenshot. Four stages, one pipeline: source, access, reasoning, delivery. Everything runs on SAP Business AI Platform, Joule, SAP Build and SAP HANA Cloud, plus LangGraph for the agent itself, the same stack Semos Cloud used to put 24 agents into production for global enterprise customers.

This is a 90-minute, hands-on session. We'll share the complete code on GitHub before the session starts, so you can deploy it in your own environment and rebuild the solution on your own setup, with our team on hand throughout to help.

  • Expose a business data set (HANA Cloud schema, application report or HR data mart) as structured, agent-callable tools through an MCP server, so the agent never queries the source directly and never invents an answer
  • Build a pro-code reasoning agent in LangGraph, with tool bindings, grounding and guardrails
  • Package and publish the agent as a Joule Skill using the Joule Studio CLI, discoverable via its Agent Card and invoked over A2A
  • Render results inside Joule as a generative UI built with SAPUI5 methodologies, something you can filter, hover and drill into, rather than a static screenshot
  • Run the full worked example: a manager asks which team members moved most on engagement last quarter and have the right skills for new projects, and gets the answer back as an interactive chart in Joule
  • Leave with a working GitHub repo of the full solution, ready to point at your own MCP server and Joule instance
