Test the new functionalities in Dangerous Goods Management or Safety Data Sheet Management.

Members of our customer engagement can take the opportunity to test the latest functionalities over the last year on-site in Walldorf, Germany from Tuesday 21st until Thursday the 23rd of October 

Customer Testing - Schedule

The testing schedule is as follows:

Day 1         Tuesday, October 21st                   9:00 am   - 5:00 pm

Day 2          Wednesday, October 22nd          9:00 am   - 5:00 pm

Day 3          Thursday, October 23rd                 9:00 am  -  4:00 pm                                        

Customer Testing - Scope

This year you can test the new functionalities as described below. You can only test in one of the topics, Dangerous Goods or Safety Data Sheet Management. We encourage and look forward to getting your feedback throughout the 3 days.

As there is considerable effort in the organisation of the testing environment we kindly request that you only register if you are sure you can travel to Walldorf in Germany and be present. There is no off-line testing being offered at this time.

To ensure the tests run smoothly please look out for emails from ProductComplianceTest@sap.com and sap.cts@sap.com and carry out any actions requested. Please also observe the details in the technical requirements tab.

Testing Dangerous Goods Management

You will be testing new functionalities from releases CE2502/CE2508:

  • DG Content: Review newly delivered Packing Instructions
  • Battery Attributes
  • De Minimis, Exemptions/Special Provisions
  • Packaged Product: Automated Determination of Enclosure Variant
  • Packaged Product: Classify “partially-packaged” Products
  • New Process: Classification of Dangerous Goods packaged in LO-HU Packing Instructions
  • Mixed Loading Check Integration (IMDG, CFR 49) in Sales, Outbound Delivery and in Transportation Management
  • DG Transport Documents in PCE/OP

Testing Safety Data Sheet Management

You will be testing new functionalities from releases CE2502/ CE2508:

  • Multi component products in the SDS process
  • Branded product names in the SDS process
  • Enhancements of data and starter template for SDS generation
